NOTE:
Liu Shibai, originally named Liu Shaohuai, began his artistic training at the age of 14 under the tutelage of the renowned Chinese painter Qi Baishi (1864-1957), studying closely with him for 25 years. Liu dedicated himself to painting, with a particular expertise in depicting ducks. He held various positions as a public officer and advisor in several organizations, including the China Artists Association, the Chinese Painting Research Society, the China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Association, and the Yanjing Painting and Calligraphy Society. Additionally, Liu was actively involved in teaching and organizing exhibitions in order to promote national studies as much as he could.
